Grain
Support
Grain is an arrow-building companion for archers — bow profiles, saved arrow sets, and build history in one place. Below are answers to the questions we get most often.
Need a hand?
Email support@drommarllc.com and we'll get back to you, usually within two business days. You can also send a note from inside the App under Settings → Send Feedback.
Getting Started
Creating a bow profile
A bow profile stores the setup details Grain uses for your builds. Add one from the Bows tab, give it a name you'll recognize at the range, and fill in the specs you know — you can always come back and refine them later.
Saving an arrow set
Once you've built an arrow you're happy with, save it as a set so you can pull it up again or use it as a starting point for the next build. Saved sets stay attached to the bow profile they were built for, and every build you complete is kept in your build history.
Accounts and Sign-in
Which sign-in options are supported?
You can sign in with an email address, with Sign in with Apple, or with Google. Whichever method you use the first time is the one to use going forward — signing in through a different provider creates a separate account rather than reconnecting you to the existing one.
I can't sign in
First check that your device has a working network connection, since sign-in needs to reach our authentication provider. If you're using Sign in with Apple and it isn't working, confirm that Grain still has permission under iOS Settings → your Apple Account → Sign in with Apple. If it still fails, email us and include the sign-in method you're using and any error message you see.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from within the App under Account settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and its authentication data and cannot be undone. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — see below.
Grain Pro
Restoring a purchase
If you've reinstalled Grain or moved to a new device, open Settings → Restore Purchases and make sure you're signed in to the same Apple Account that made the original purchase. Restoring can take a moment while the App Store confirms your subscription status.
Managing or cancelling a subscription
Grain Pro is billed through the App Store, so subscriptions are managed there rather than in the App. On your device, open iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, select Grain, and change or cancel the plan. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Refunds
Because purchases are processed by Apple, refunds are handled by Apple as well. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something went wrong on our end, email us and we'll help you sort it out.
Your Data
Where is my data stored?
Bow profiles, saved arrow sets, and build history are stored locally on your device only. They aren't uploaded to our servers, which means they're private to you — and it also means they aren't backed up for you automatically.
I lost my bows and saved sets
Because this data lives on the device, deleting the App or switching to a new device removes it unless you exported it first. Signing back in won't bring it back, since there's no server-side copy to restore from. If you're planning to change devices, export what you want to keep beforehand.
Privacy
Our full Privacy Policy covers what Grain collects, how it's used, and the third-party services involved.
Troubleshooting
If Grain is behaving unexpectedly, these steps resolve most issues:
- Force-quit the App and reopen it.
- Check the App Store for a Grain update — fixes often ship there first.
- Confirm your device is running a supported version of iOS.
- Restart your device if the problem persists.
Still stuck? Email support@drommarllc.com with your device model, your iOS version, the Grain version from Settings → About, and a short description of what you were doing when it happened. That detail helps us reproduce the problem quickly.
Feature Requests
Grain is actively developed and we read everything that comes in. If there's a workflow you wish the App handled, send it to support@drommarllc.com or through Settings → Send Feedback.
